The lecture delivered by Gary was about Picasso, magic, sex & death 

Death 

When Picasso lost his close friend Casgagemas in 1901 that is when he painted in blue and the blue period began. 

He started to paint the old guitarist in 1903 and it was produced just after the suicide death of his close friend.

Magic

Picasso used children's drawings to influence and produce his own drawings.

He loved messing about with different materials to create unusual sculptures and pieces of art. 

Sex 

Picasso's oil painting of his first wife in 1923 reproduction on canvas.

His wife was called 'Olga Khokhlova' and she was a Russian ballerina. 

The whole lecture was carefully structured and kept me focused from beginning to end.
